  • The festival takes place annually on the second Saturday in May.

    This year’s festival is Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from 12pm-6pm.

  • The festival takes place on Trenton Ave between Norris St and Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA.

    If you would like to use an address for your GPS, use 2240 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125.

  • We strongly recommend walking, taking public transit, or biking. The closest SEPTA stop is the Berks Market-Frankford Line (MFL), and the #5 bus runs along the festival footprint on Frankford Ave. There is also an Indego bike share dock at the Berks MFL station.

  • Street parking is available. However, there aren't many parking lots or garages in the immediate area. There is, however, a paid municipal parking lot about 20 minutes away walking at the corner of Front St and Thompson St.

  • No, the festival is rain or shine.

  • The Derby will kick off from Trenton & Norris promptly at 1pm. The Mud Pit will take place after the parade approximately around 3pm. For the full Derby route, click here.

  • YES! Join us for Derby check in at noon at Trenton & Dauphin, and we'll get you all squared away! Don't forget a bike helmet though! You will NOT be allowed to participate in the race without a bike helmet.

    Cars will be courtesy towed from the following streets/blocks:

    Norris St in the immediate area of Trenton Ave intersection

    Susquehanna Ave from Trenton Ave to Blair St

    Dauphin St from Martha St to Frankford Ave
